Follow our artwork tips to make your custom box stylish and attractive with clear colors, sharp details, and perfect design.
For accurate printing, always create artwork in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) or Pantone spot colors. RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) is for digital screens and may cause color shifts when printed. Converting to the correct color mode ensures sharp, consistent, and accurate results.
Printed text must be clear and easy to read, so using a minimum font size of 9pt is recommended for packaging. Clean and bold fonts are better than decorative or italic styles, as they maintain sharpness in print and improve visibility.
For the best results, use high-contrast text, and always outline fonts before submitting your design. Finally, save your file in the ‘Adobe PDF/X-1a’ format to ensure accurate and even printing.
Artwork should be set at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI for sharp, clear printing. Anything lower can cause pixelation, blurriness, and poor-quality results, reducing the overall result of your packaging design.
For best printing results, submit artwork in high-resolution formats like PDF, TIFF, or EPS to maintain clarity and quality. Photos or non-vector elements should be provided in JPEG or PNG with at least 300 DPI resolution. It ensures sharp, clear, and professional-looking prints without pixelation or blurriness.
Organize your artwork files by placing design elements on separate layers and labeling them clearly. A complete file reduces confusion, makes edits easier, and ensures the right elements are used during printing. Proper organization helps maintain accuracy and saves time, leading to smoother production and high-quality results.
